Peaches and Cream Bread Pudding

1 (1-pound) loaf of bread, the drier the better, cubed
2 cups milk
2 cups whipping cream
8 tablespoons butter, melted
3 eggs
2 tablespoons vanilla
3 large peaches, skinned, pitted and sliced
1 tablespoon peach liqueur
Recipe
Spray 9-by-13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Combine all ingredients in large bowl; mixture must be very moist, but not soupy. Add more bread if too soupy. Pour into prepared dish. Place in nonpreheated 350-degree oven 90 minutes, until top is golden brown.
Serve warm topped with Hard Sauce (see recipe) or whipped cream.
Hard Sauce
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup peach liqueur
Cream butter and sugar over medium heat until all butter is absorbed. Remove from heat and stirring constantly, slowly add egg yolk. Gradually pour in liqueur, stirring constantly. Serve warm over warm bread pudding.
