1 pkg. Puff Pastry shells
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 can cherry pie filling
Recipe
Bake pastry according to package directions.
Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, sugar and extract.
With a fork carefully remove top of pastry shells and reserve tops. Remove all membranes.
Divide cheese filling between shells. Place on baking sheet.
Return to the oven and bake 5 minutes. Cool.
Just before serving fill each shell with pie filling. Top with reserved pastry circle.
