Strawberry Chiffon Squares

1/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cups vanilla wafers (or graham crackers), crushed
1 3-ounce package strawberry Jell-O
3/4 cup boiling water
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 10-ounce box frozen strawberries, thawed
4 cups miniature marshmallows
2 cups whipped topping
Melt butter in a 9 by 13-inch baking dish. Stir in crumbs and press mixture into bottom of pan for the crust. Chill. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in the milk and thawed strawberries. Fold in the marshmallows and topping. Pour over the crumb crust and spread evenly. Chill until set, overnight if possible.
