Chili Cheese Dip

1 lb. lean ground beef
2 cans (15 oz each) refried beans
1 large (16 oz) jar picante sauce, mild
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
Jalapenos or mild chile, chopped, to taste
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Cook ground beef with onion; drain.
Mix everything together in slow cooker or crockpot and cook on low (about 3 to 4 hours).
Serve with favorite vegetables or chips.
