    Polish Noodles and Cabbage

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 stick butter
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    4 cups shredded cabbage
    1 tsp caraway seed
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1 (8–ounce) package wide egg noodles, uncooked
    1/2 cup sour cream

    Cook noodles according to package directions. While noodles are cooking, melt butter in large skillet. Add onion; sauté until soft. Add cabbage; sauté 5 minutes or until crisp tender. Stir in caraway seed, salt and pepper.

    Drain noodles; stir noodles into cabbage. Stir in sour cream. Cook 5 minutes longer, stirring frequently. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
