Mussels Steamed & Tomato Basil

36 med. mussels (2 ½ lbs.)
3 T olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
dash crushed red pepper
¼ c finely chopped basil
1 can tomatoes, chopped
salt & pepper
Recipe
Clean mussels. Heat oil, add garlic. Cook 1 min., stir in basil and fry few seconds and add tomatoes. Cook 5 – 10 min. Boil on medium heat, add mussels. Stir and cover. Stir occasionally until mussels open (about 4 min.). Pour over pasta.
