    Ingredients Sauce
    1/2 cup butter
    1 chopped shallot
    2 pounds chopped chanterelle mushrooms
    1/4 cup white port
    1/4 cup chopped chives

    Ingredients Scallops
    1/2 cup butter
    2-1/2 pounds scallops
    fresh ground pepper
    1/4 cup white port
    1/2 cup chopped chives

    Sauce: Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the shallots and the mushrooms, cook until soft, about 10 minutes on medium-low heat. Remove from heat, add port wine and chives. Heat until hot.

    Scallops: Melt butter and saut� scallops and pepper. Saut� scallops until they turn white and begin to lose translucency, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat, add port wine and chives. Add prepared sauce and heat through.
