    1/2 lb sour pitted cherries
    1 c water
    1/3 c sugar
    2 Tbsp cornstarch
    3 Tbsp lemon juice
    1 Tbsp cold water

    Recipe



    Simmer cherries with cup of water, lemon juice and sugar for 10 minutes
    Make paste of cornstarch and 1 tbsp of cold water
    Stir into cherry mixture until slightly thickened and clear
