Grandma Bogey Chocolate Fudge Frosting

8 cups sifted confectioner's sugar
1-1/3 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 sticks sweet butter, softened
1 stick margarine, softened
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
2 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
2/3 cup heavy cream
Recipe
Sift the sugar, cocoa, and salt together and set aside
Cream butter and margarine together in large bowl with electric mixer on high until light yellow and slightly thickened.
With mixer still running, beat in corn syrup and van extract. Reduce mixer to low speed and beat in the sugar mixture in two additions, beating well after each addition.
Blend in cream until frosting is a spreading consistency, adding a little extra cream if needed.
Return mixer to high speed and whip frosting until extra light and creamy
