Calabrese Italian Peppers and Sausage

3 Tbsp. olive oil
3/4 lb.Sweet Italian sausage,.cut in 1-inch pieces
3/4lb. Hot Italian sausage,.cut in 1-inch pieces
2 green sweet peppers,.cut in 1-inch pieces
2 sweet red peppers,.cut in 1-inch pieces
2 medium onions,.cut in 1-inch pieces
4 medium fresh tomatos, cut in 6 wedges each
1 Tbsp. chopped fresh garlic
1 Tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (opt.)
1 sm. can of tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup red wine
Parmesan Cheese and Pasta of choice - We like Linguini
Put olive oil in large pre-heated skillet, add sausage pieces and brown on all sides. Cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until done.
Add peppers and onions, cook till no longer crisp, but still holding
Shape, about 5 minutes.
Add tomatos; and all other ingredients. Cook another 10 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta.
