    Foilla - Greens with Mashed Potatoes

    4 oz. bacon, finely chopped
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 large clove garlic, crushed
    1 can chopped turnip greens, drained
    5 medium potatoes, boiled
    Warm milk
    Salt and fresh pepper, to taste

    In medium skillet, brown bacon taking care so that it does not become too crisp. Remove the bacon and drain all but 2 tablespoons grease.
    Fry onion over medium heat. After 5 minutes, add garlic and fry for 2 minutes. Do not allow the garlic to burn.
    Add the drained greens and heat through. Remove from heat and keep it warm.
    Mash the potatoes and add a little warm milk. Do not add more then a 1/4 cup. Combine the mashed potatoes with the greens mixture. Add salt and pepper.
    Serve immediately.
