Linguini with White Clam Sauce and Lemon

2 c. clams
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tbsp. butter
4-5 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tbsp. ground pepper
2 tbs. lemon zest
4 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 lb. linguini
Recipe
Drain broth from clams into a bowl. Set broth and clams aside. In saucepan heat oil and butter. Add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Sprinkle in flour and cook, stirring constantly 1 minute. Add clam broth, parsley, pepper and lemon zest. Simmer 10 minutes. Add clams and heat. Toss with cooked linguini. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
