    2 Pork Chops
    8 Cups Water
    5 Carrots, Chopped
    4 Stalks Of Celery, Chopped
    1 Onion, Chopped
    2 Cloves Of Garlic, Minced
    3 Whole Tomatoes, Cored, Seeded And Chopped
    1 Green Pepper Chopped
    1 Yellow Pepper, Chopped
    4 Potatoes, Peeled And Cut Into 1 Inch Cubes
    2 Cups Shredded Cabbage
    1 Cup Green Beans, Chopped
    1 Medium Zucchini, Chopped
    Salt & Pepper
    3 Tablespoons Chopped Fresh Basil
    Pinch Of Anise Seeds

    Boil the water, and add the pork chops. Skim the water and add the tomatoes, carrots, celery, onions, peppers, and seasonings. Cook for 2 hours until tender on low heat. In a separate pot, cook the cabbage. zucchini, potatoes and green beans until tender, about 30 minutes. Add these vegetable to the rest of the ingredients in the soup pot, and cook everything together for another 20 minutes. Serve hot.
