List of Ingredients
6oz. Butter, Softened
6 Large Eggs, Room Temperature
½ Cup Warm Water
2 Envelopes of Yeast
½ Teaspoon of Salt
4 ½ Cups of Flour
1 Cup of sugar
2 Cups of Raisins, soaked in Marsala Wine
Recipe
1. Dissolve Yeast in warm water, let stand until foamy(10 min.)
2. Put all the remaining ingredients except the raisins into a large mixing bowl.
3. With the dough hook mix at med. Speed until combined.
4. Slowly add Yeast and mix another 1 min.
5. Place dough into greased bowl until it doubles. (2 hrs.)
6. Punch down and let it double again.
7. Drain raisins and knead them into the dough
8. Divide the dough into two equal parts and place each in a spring pan.
9. Bake in a 375 degree oven 35-45 min.
