1 15-oz can tomato puree
1/4 cup water
3 garlic cloves, minced or pressed
salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, italian seasoning (basil, oregano, marjoram)
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Recipe
In a saucepan, bring tomato puree and water to a simmer. Thin it out with more water if you like. Add garlic, seasonings, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes, These are all to taste. Simmer for about 20 minutes on low heat. add cheese, and serve.
