    3 tablespoons olive oil
    6 plum tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 small yellow onion thinly sliced
    2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
    Pinch of red pepper flakes
    ½ cup vodka
    ½ cup heavy cream
    1-1/4 pound dry pasta
    6 tablespoons Parmigiano

    Recipe



    1. Over a low-medium heat, warm the oil in a large deep pan.

    2. Add the tomato, onion, garlic and pepper flakes.

    3. Stirring frequently, let cook until the onions are translucent.

    4. Add the vodka and cream.

    5. Stirring occasionally let cook until slightly thickened.

    6. Meanwhile, cook your pasta until al dente.

    7. Drain the pasta and pour into the saucepan with the sauce.

    8. Toss well and transfer into a warm bowl.

    9. Sprinkle with the Parmigiano and serve.
