Fettucine Alfredo w/Chicken & Mushrooms

6 tablespoons butter
2 cup heavy whipping cream
4 pinches ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1 pinch salt
1-1 1/2 lb chicken breasts or equiv., diced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (one small package)
1 lb fettuccine pasta
Recipe
Saute chicken and mushrooms, set aside.
Cook the pasta in a pinch of salt and boiling water, drain and rinse, set aside
Set small frying pan in mid-high heat.
Add the butter and the cream to the frying pan and mix well.
Stir the sauce frequently and add the black pepper, salt and nutmeg, boil and stir frequently until the sauce becomes heavier, then reduce the heat.
Add the chicken and mushrooms into the sauce, and then add the pasta to the sauce.
Add the grated cheese to the sauce and pasta, and mix until the sauce absorbs the cheese.
