Gorngonzola and Onion Bruschettas

1/2 cup EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
12 diagonally cut slices baguette, 1/2 inch
2 medium onions, chopped
4 ounces gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Recipe
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour olive oil into medium skillet. Dip one side of each baguette slice into the olive oil. Arrange slices oil side up on baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until crisp and golden.
2. Meanwhile, saute onions in olive oil remaining in skillet until tender and beginning to color, about 10 minutees. Stir in gorgonzola. Spread mixture over baked baguette slices. Sprinkle with walnuts.
3. Change oven setting to "Broil". Broil until cheese bubbles. Serve warm.
