    Low Fat Crab Casserole

    1 pound of crab meat
    1 cup of chopped celery
    1 can of sliced mushrooms
    1/2 cup of chopped onion
    1 small jar of pimiento
    3/4 cup of skim milk
    1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco
    1 teaspoon of garlic powder
    1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
    2 tablespoons of melted margarine, fat-free
    1/2 cup of bread crumbs
    2 tablespoons of plain flour
    1/2 stick of oleo, fat-free

    Sauté celery & onions. Make a white sauce of 1/2 stick oleo, 2 tablespoons of flour and the skim milk.
    Cook over low heat until thickened. Add mushrooms & sautéed onion & celery to sauce. Stir in crab meat.
    Add pimiento, garlic powder, Tabasco, black pepper. Pour into casserole dish. Mix bread crumbs & 2 tablespoons of melted margarine. Sprinkle on top of all. Bake at 350°F. for 30 minutes.
