Low Fat Vegetable Soup

List of Ingredients
1 or 2 lb. package of carrots
1 package of turnips
1 package of parsnips
2 medium sized rutabagas
1 large onion
2 cups of celery
1 or 2 cans stewed tomatoes (or fresh)
Soup beef base
Peel and dice vegetables. Add water to cover them. Add soup beef base according to directions on package.
Bring to a boil and boil gently until vegetables are tender. Large quantity. Freezes well.
