Sweet And Sour Baked Ribs

23 pounds boneless beef short ribs
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 Tblsp. molasses
1 tsp. liquid smoke
1 tsp. chili powder
2 Tblsp. cider vinegar
Cayenne pepper to taste
1 small onion, chopped
Place ribs in baking dish just large enough to hold them in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine the tomato sauce, molasses, liquid smoke, chili powder, vinegar, cayenne pepper, and onion in a sauce pan and mix well. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture over the ribs. Bake, covered, at 275° F. for 3 hours. Serve over hot cooked noodles. Serves 4. Recipe
