    Teriyaki-Marinated Beef Steak

    1 beef top round steak, cut 1-1/2 inches thick (about 2 pounds)
    1 thick-cut beef bottom round (western griller) steak, cut 1-1/4 inches thick (1-1/4 to 1-1/2 pounds)

    Marinade:
    3/4 cup prepared teriyaki marinade and sauce
    3/4 cup prepared teriyaki sauce

    Marinade:
    2 tablespoons dry sherry
    1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
    1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger

    Recipe



    1. Combine marinade ingredients in small bowl. Place beef steak and marinade in food-safe plastic bag; turn steak to coat. Close bag securely and marinate in refrigerator 6 hours or as long as overnight, turning occasionally.

    2. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade. Place steak on grid over medium, ash-covered coals. Grill, covered, 18 to 20 minutes for medium rare doneness, turning two or three times. (Do not overcook.) Carve steak into thin slices.
