Meatballs:
2 eggs
1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 pounds ground beef
Sauce:
2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup chopped onion (or 1/4 cup dry onion flakes)
1 to 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
1-1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Meatballs In a large bowl, beat eggs, add the seasonings. Add the ground meat, mix well. Shape into 1-1/2 inch balls. Place in two 13x9x2-inch baking pans. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven. Put meatballs in a crock pot or casserole dish, pour sauce over them. To make sauce, place ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs and return to oven uncovered for 20 to 25 minutes or three hours in a crockpot on low.
