    Apple Stuffed Pork Chops 2

    1 1/2 cup of toasted 1/2 inch bread cubes
    1/2 cup of chopped apples plus 6 slices
    1/2 cup of shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 tablespoons of seedless golden raisins
    1/4 teaspoon of salt
    1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
    2 tablespoons of orange juice
    2 tablespoons of butter, melted
    6 (1 1/2 inch) thick pork chops, cut with pockets
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Combine bread cubes, chopped apple, cheese and raisins. Sprinkle with salt and cinnamon. Add orange juice and butter, stir until bread is coated. Season pocket of pork chops with salt and pepper. Stuff with bread cube mixture. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper, top with slice of apple. Place in shallow 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350ºF. for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cover and bake 15 more minutes. 6 servings.
