Cherried Pork Chops

6 pork chops, cut 3/4 inch thick
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 can of cherry pie filling
2 teaspoons of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of instant chicken bouillon granules
1/8 teaspoon of ground mace
Trim any excess fat from the pork chops. Brown the pork chops in a hot skillet with butter or oil. Sprinkle each chop with salt ad pepper. Combine the cherry pie filling, lemon juice, chicken bouillon granules, and ground mace in cooker. Stir well. Place the pork chops in crock pot. Cover. Cook on low for 4 -5 hours. Place the pork chops on a platter. Pour the cherry sauce over the meat.
