Ground Beef with Green Beans

3/4 lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1-3/4 cups canned chopped tomatoes
1 Tbs. tomato paste
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 lb. green beans, trimmed
2 Tbs. grated Parmesan cheese
Recipe
Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Sauté meat, onion, and garlic about 5 minutes, stirring to break up meat, until browned. Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer about 8 minutes, until liquid is reduced by half and green beans are just tender. Sprinkle cheese over top and serve.
