    16 oz Vermicelli
    1/2 cup onion, chopped
    1/2 to 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
    1/2 to 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
    1 (4 oz) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    2 (15 oz) cans pizza sauce
    2 cups (8 oz) shredded
    3/4 cup water
    mozzarella cheese

    Cook and drain vermicelli according package directions. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large saucepan, over medium heat, brown sausage; pour off fat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except vermicelli and cheese. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add vermicelli and 1 cup cheese; mix well. Spoon into a greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake uncovered 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
