2 cups shelled macaroni, or ditalini, twirls, ect.
Vegetable oil
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Recipe
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain well. Dry on paper towel. Fry pasta,1/2 cup at a time, in deep fat fryer or in deep oil in frying pan at 375/o for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Stir to separate. Drain on paper towels. While hot, toss with parmesan cheese and garlic salt or other herbs to your liking. Cool completely. Store in an air tight container. Use in salads or as a garnish for favorite casseroles.
