1/8 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
2 Tablespoons flour
1/3 teaspoon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon butter, melted
One 5-count package large, refrigerated biscuits
4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated
2 large Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored, and chopped
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter. Stir well and set aside. (The mixture will resemble a moist paste.)
Place the biscuits on a lightly greased baking sheet and press out to form circles about 3 inches in diameter. Sprinkle the cheese, apples, and butter mixture over biscuit dough.
