Chocolate Hazelnut Napoleon

Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup whipping cream
1 tablespoon hazelnut-flavored coffee syrup
8 oz. bitter-sweet chocolate
White Chocolate Sauce:
2 oz. white chocolate
1 tablespoon whipping cream
Dessert:
1 pint Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Gelato
1 pint Häagen-Dazs Hazelnut Gelato
12 assorted shortbread cookies
Recipe
In small saucepan bring 1 cup whipping cream to a boil. Remove from heat, add 8 oz. bitter-sweet chocolate. Allow to stand for 1 minute. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth. Keep warm.
In small microwave-safe measuring cup combine white chocolate and 1 tablespoon whipping cream. Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir. If chocolate is not completely melted, continue to microwave in 30 second increments until completely melted and smooth. Place chocolate into pastry bag with small writing tip or use small plastic bag clipping small opening on one corner.
Pour 1/2 cup chocolate ganache onto each serving plate. Create border by making small dots using white chocolate.
Place 1 small scoop (1/4 cup) each of chocolate and hazelnut gelato in center of chocolate ganache. Arrange shortbread cookies around gelato; placing 1 cookie between scoops of gelato and two cookies to the side. Serve immediately.
