    4 cups of all purpose flour
    1 1/2 cup of shortening or 1 stick margarine
    1 teaspoon of salt
    1 teaspoon of baking powder
    3 tablespoons of sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup of water
    2 tablespoons of vinegar
    2 cans of fruit
    White frosting

    Blend flour, shortening, salt, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs, water and vinegar. Stir into flour mixture to make a soft dough. Knead lightly to form a ball; chill before using; after chilling, divide dough in half, roll to fit a cookie sheet. Pour the two cans of fruit over dough. Roll out remaining dough and cut into strips to form lattice work. Bake at 425�F. for 30 minutes. Cool and frost with glaze made from white frosting.
