    Grandma Bogey Cream Cheese Pastry

    1/2 pound butter
    1 package cream cheese (8 ounces)
    2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    3 Tablespoons sugar

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Cream butter and cream cheese together. Sift flour, sugar and salt, and work into butter and cream cheese mixture. Chill in refrigerator 12 hours. Use plenty of flour when rolling out. Cut it into squares, top each square with strawberry jam, and bake about 10 minutes.

    The pastry keeps well in the refrigerator wrapped in plastic wrap.
