1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract (I always use about 1 tsp.)
1 - 10 oz tube of refrigerated biscuits
1 - 3 oz package cream cheese (cut into 10 pieces - I usually get the 8 oz cream cheese and cut into larger cubes)
Recipe
In a small bowl, combine the sugar & cinnamon. In another bowl, combine the melted butter & vanilla. Separate dough into 10 biscuits and press each into a 3 inch circle. Dip cream cheese cubes in butter mixture then roll in cinnamon-sugar. Place the cream cheese cube in the center of each biscuit. Fold the dough over the cube; seal and shape into balls. Dip each of the biscuit balls in the butter mixture and then in the cinnamon-sugar. Place biscuit balls seam side down in a greased muffin cup. Bake at 375 for 14-18 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
