    List of Ingredients

    For the pastry:
    6 sheets frozen phyllo dough
    Butter flavored vegetable cooking spray
    6 t. granulated sugar

    For the strawberry cream:
1 C. semi pureed strawberries (leave chunky)
    1/2 C. coarsely chopped strawberries
1 T. fresh squeezed lime juice
2 T. Framboise (strawberry flavored liquor)
    1/2 t. pure vanilla extract
    1 3/4 C. low-fat nondairy topping
3 C. sliced beautiful large strawberries sliced 1/4" thick confectioners' sugar for topping

    Preparing the pastry:
Preheat oven to 400. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place 1 phyllo sheet on a flat work surface. Spray lightly with the butter- flavored veggie spray and sprinkle with 1 t. of the granulated sugar. Repeat this process until you have a stack of three phyllo sheets. Cut the layered phyllo into ten 6" x 3" rectangles. Discard any scraps. Place the rectangles on the prepared parchment and bake in the preheated oven until crisp and golden 3 - 5 minutes. Watch carefully, the phyllo can burn easily. Remove from the oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the remaining 3 sheets of phyllo. When finished, you should have twenty rectangles.

Prepare the filling: Place the first six filling ingredients in a mixing bowl. Fold the ingredients together until thoroughly incorporated. Cover and refrigerate until serving time.

    Just before serving:
Place a phyllo rectangle on a dessert plate. Spoon or pipe 1/4 C. of the strawberry cream onto the pastry and top with strawberry slices. Finish with another phyllo rectangle and dust with confectioners' sugar. Yield: 10 Servings.
