    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1 cup warm water
    2-1/2 cups flour
    4 tbl. vegetable oil, divided
    2 tsp. salt, divided
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 lb. boneless skinless chicken beat, cut into strips
    2 cups onions, sliced
    2 cups green pepper, sliced
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 cup salsa
    2 cups monterey jack or mozzarella cheese, shredded

    In a bowl dissolve the yeast in water. Add flour, 2 tbl. oil, 1 tsp. salt and
    sugar. Beat by hand for 20 fast strokes. Cover and let rise for 15 minutes.
    Divide dough in half, press each half into a greased 12" pizza pan. Prick
    the dough with a fork. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 6-8 minutes. In a
    skillet, sauté the chicken in the remaining oil until juice runs clear. Add the
    onions, peppers, chili powder, garlic powder and the remaining salt. Cook
    until veggies are tender. Spoon over the crust, top with the salsa and
    cheese. Bake for 14 - 18 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is
    melted.
