    List of Ingredients

1 package of long grain and wild rice mix or use your favorite stuffing
4 to 6 Rock Cornish hens, each weighing 1 pound
8 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced
3 slices of peeled ginger root, chopped
    1/2 cup of soy sauce
    1/2 cup of honey
    1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
    1/2 teaspoon of paprika
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 large plastic or paper bag
4 to 6 small brown paper bags
    vegetable oil

Cook the rice according to package directions. Allow to cool. Wash the hens and dry inside and out. Cook the garlic, ginger root, soy sauce, honey, salt and paprika, stirring until moisture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Place the flour and hens into a large paper bag, close and shake to coat with flour. Roll floured hens in soy sauce mixture or spoon over hens to coat evenly. Put small paper bags on cookie sheet, one at a time. Pour vegetable oil over bag, saturating it well. Wipe excess oil from cookie sheet. Spoon the stuffing into hens. Slip each hen into oiled paper bag. Staple the end shut. Place the bags on racks on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350ºF. for 1 hour. Split the bags open. If not browned enough, return to oven for a few additional minutes. Serves 4 - 6
