    ( Polish filled pastries, often filled with mashed potatoes,
    cheese ,cooked cabbage, or meat etc.)

    2 sticks butter
    12 oz. cream cheese
    3 3/4 cups flour
    1 tsp. salt
    Filling of choice

    Bring butter and cream cheese to room temperature and beat both together until smooth. Gradually beat in the flour to form a pliable dough. You can mix by hand also. Form into a ball and wrap and chill overnight. Divide dough into 3 sections. Roll out each piece on a lightly floured surface. Cut out circles or as desired and place a small amount of desired filling in center. Seal and crimp dough. Bake in a 375 to 400F oven until golden about 20 to 25 minutes.
