Plain Ice Water Pie Crust

2 cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
2/3 cup Shortening
4 tablespoons Ice water -- to 6 tb
Recipe
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Place in food processor with
shortening and 4 tablespoons ice water.
Blend until moistened but do not overprocess.
Add more water if necessary to make dough hold together.
Divide the dough into two equal portions. Roll out one portion on
floured board until desired size and place in 9-inch pie plate.
Add filling. Roll out remaining portion. Prick with a fork in several places
or make gashes with a sharp knife. Place on top of filling, positioning
edges to meet those of lower crust. Press edges with a fork.
Bake according to recipe for filling.
