The Best Mashed Potatoes

2 tbs. Russet potatoes
1/4 Heavy cream or creme fraiche
1/4 c. Milk
8 Tbsp. Salted butter
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1/4 c. Roasted garlic
Recipe
Peel and cube Russet potatoes and place in a pot of cold water. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are just tender. Drain potatoes and place into a mixing bowl. In a small sauce pan heat milk and heavy cream until warm. Mash potatoes until smooth with potato masher. Whip in milk mixture and roasted garlic and season with salt and freshly ground pepper. Serve immediately.
