    Grilled Salmon & Cheddar Sandwiches

    1 pound salmon
    1 tablespoon grated onion
    10 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
    1 tablespoon lemon juice
    1/4 cup mayonnaise
    French bread
    butter or margarine

    Recipe



    1. Mix the salmon with the onion, lemon juice, and mayonnaise.

    2. Spread the mixture on thick slices of French bread and top with a slice of cheddar cheese.

    3. Add a top slice of bread, and butter both sides of the sandwich generously.

    4. Grill until brown, then turn and brown the other side, until the cheese is melted.

    5. Serve hot.
