List of Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup ketchup
Good dash Worcestershire Sauce
1 or 2 tablespoons vinegarRecipe
Get out a large skillet and start your hamburger to frying. Chop up the onion and add it along with the meat. Use a fork to mash the hamburger into tiny pieces as it fries. When it brown clear through, with no pink left, drain off the fat. Put the pan back on the stove and add the tomato soup, ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce and vinegar to tast. I like it sour, with the full 2 tablespoons of vinegar, but some folks like it sort of sweet, with less vinegar. Stir up the whole mess in the pan and let it simmer for a few minutes. You may need to thin it down with a little water, if it simmers too fast. When the flavors have blended, spoon it onto hamburger buns,or over toast and eat it up. Makes 8 or 10 sandwiches.
