    List of Ingredients




    2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
    1 garlic clove, lightly smashed
    pinch sea salt
    2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

    4 crusty Italian rolls
    prosciutto ham
    sopressata (or other dried Italian sausage)
    2 roasted sweet red peppers, sliced (tip for roasting peppers below)
    provolone cheese, thinly sliced
    arugula leaves
    freshly ground black pepper


    Recipe



    Vinaigrette: In cruet or jar, combine red wine vinegar, garlic, salt and olive oil. Shake to combine.

    Slice rolls open and sprinkle with the vinaigrette. Layer the bottom halves of the rolls with prosciutto, sopressata, roasted peppers and cheese. Top generously with arugula leaves and sprinkle with black pepper. Sprinkle with extra vinaigrette, if desired. Cover filling with tops of rolls. Serves 4.
