Carmel Apple Ice Cream Topping

1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and thinly sliced into rings
2 t butter
1/4 c caramel apple dip
1/4 cup water
Dash of cinnamon Recipe
Cut apple slices into quarters
In large skillet, melt butter. Add apples; cook and stir until apples are crisp-tender on medium heat
Stir in caramel dip, water and cinnamon. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Cook 2 minutes or until mixture is slightly thickened, stirring occasionally
Serve warm over ice cream
Makes 1-1/2 cups
NOTE: Apple dip is found in the produce section of most grocery stores
