    1 cup dried cherries
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 1/2 cup water
    1 1/4 tsp cornstarch
    1 tbsp cold water
    3 tbsp brandy

    Recipe



    In a saucepan combine the cherries, the sugar and 1 1/2 cups water and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes or until the liquid is reduced to 1 cup
    Mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water and add it to the cherry mixture, and simmer the mixture, stirring, for 2 minutes
    Add the brandy and stir it in.
