List of Ingredients
1/2 lb mushrooms
1 tablesp finely chopped shallots
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sauce (buy the Heinz Home Style bistro au jus gravy in a jar)
1/2 cup madeira
1 cup heavy cream
1 teasp strong dijon mustard
salt and pepper
Recipe
1. Cook mushrooms and shallots in 3 tablesp of the butter till dry.
2. Combine the brown sauce and wine. Cook for ten minutes. Add the cream and cook for five minutes longer. Remove from heat and stir in the mustard, remaining butter, salt and pepper to taste and the mushrooms and shallots.
3. Serve on steak.
