    2 cups fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
    1/2 cup light olive oil
    2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
    4 large cloves garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon coarse salt
    1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
    2 tablespoons freshly grated Pecorino Romano cheese
    3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

    Recipe



    Put basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic and salt in a blender or food processor. Blend or process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and stir in cheeses and butter.
