    Raisin Apricot Chutney

    1/2 cup California raisins
    1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
    2 tbsp chopped onion
    1 1/2 cups apple juice
    3 tbsp cider vinegar
    3 tbsp brown sugar
    2 tbsp chopped crystallized ginger
    1/2 tsp ground cloves

    Combine raisins, apricots, onion and apple juice in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat 20 minutes or until apricots and raisins are plump and tender, stirring occasionally.

    Add vinegar, brown sugar, ginger and cloves. Bring to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar is dissolved.

    Refrigerate 8 hours or more to blend flavors. Serve with ham, turkey or pork, if desired.

    Makes: 5 servings; 1/4 cup each (1 1/4 cups)
