    Roasted Red Pepper Sauce

    One 12 ounce jar of roasted red sweet peppers, drained
    1/2 cup of chopped onion 3 cloves of garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon of butter or margarine
    2 teaspoons of snipped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme, crushed
    2 teaspoons of snipped fresh oregano or 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
    1 teaspoon of sugar

    Place the roasted sweet peppers in a food processor bowl or blender container. Cover and process until smooth. Set aside. In a medium saucepan, cook the onion and garlic in butter or margarine until tender.
    Add the pureed roasted peppers, thyme, oregano, and sugar. Cook and stir until heated through.
