    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup sugar
    1/2 cup beef broth
    1/3 cup Kikkoman Aji-Mirin rice wine
    dash Accent (MSG) OPTIONAL!
    pepper, to taste
    3 ginger slices, cut 1/8" thick
    cornstarch
    water

    Recipe



    Put the soy sauce, sugar, beef broth, rice wine, accent and minced garlic into a saucepan. Add ginger to the above mixture and mash with a fork to get all the flavor. Mix equal amounts of water and cornstarch. Bring liquid to a boil and add cornstarch mixture until it thickens. If taste is too strong, add leftover beef broth. You can also use this on chicken, but substitute chicken broth for the beef broth.
