    1 stick unsalted butter
    1 garlic clove, lightly crushed
    1/4 cup PLUS 3 Tbsp cider vinegar
    3/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

    Recipe



    In a small saucepan warm the butter with the garlic over low heat until the butter is melted. Add the vinegar, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Increase the heat slightly and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

    This sauce can be used with chicken, turkey or pork by spooning it over and then basting.
